Synopsis

Guest Starring The Incredible Hulk. An Onslaught tie-in issue which opens with Ozymandias carving images of Cable in his endless prison, while considering Nathan's potential to put a stop to Apocalypse. The issue focuses on a fight between Cable and Hulk, who has seemingly been sent to obstruct Cable from the continuing confrontation between Onslaught and the combined X-Men, Avengers, and Fantastic Four teams.   After Cable is nearly killed, Storm arrives and restarts his heart with her powers. Her arrival turns the tide in the battle with Hulk. Despite having maintained his Banner-like intelligence in both green and gray forms, Storm and Cable's combined efforts push Hulk into a mindless, rampaging state. Back with Ozymandias, Apocalypse announces his intention to leverage the Onslaught conflict for his own benefit. This issue leads directly into The Incredible Hulk #444 Issues footnoted in this issue: Cable #33 - Recap The Incredible Hulk #377 - Last appearance of Gray Hulk X-Force #55 - Confrontation between Cable and SHIELD's GW Bridge. The Uncanny X-Men #335 - Onslaught conflict
